Topps reported that Michael Vick‘s Topps Chrome cards were pulled and removed from the set after Vick’s involvement in the dogfighting ring. Some of the cards still surfaced on the secondary market and are now considered to be short print (scarce). Although Vick is back in football and doing well, his SP’d card still sells for $50-$70. It’s expensive for a base card, but a must have for set builders. The base card has sold as high as $500.
