News of this card first appeared in an old Beckett Baseball Price guide. The first card was pulled by a collector in Woodbury, Minnesota. After the article was published, this card sold for a little over $400. Now, with Fleer being defunct, these cards have flooded the market. They can be had for about $3-$5 each. These cards are no longer short print. Actually, far from it.
