Here is a list of unreleased and unpublicized cards that are on the market. If you have any more details about these cards, feel free to contact me.

2001 Donruss Classics Sandy Koufax Legend #162

This card was not intended for public release. They were pulled from production at the last minute because Donruss did not have image approval to produce the card.

One sold on eBay for $56 (Item # 390109179388, 11/1/2009). Card had minor edge chipping.

2001 Donruss Classics Robin Roberts Legend #185

This card was not intended for public release. They were pulled from production at the last minute because Donruss did not have image approval to produce the card.

2001 Fleer Tradition Willie Mays Stitches in Time Autograph #4

This card has been a myth until now, but we still have yet to find an autographed one. Majority of these remained in Sy Berger's Collection (103 total) and auctioned in the Robert Edward Auction.
With this being said, I still question the value in the price guide.

Update: After RE Auction, these have been selling for $33.19 on eBay.

2001 Fleer Genuine Nomar Garciaparra Genuine Coverage Plus Proof

This is one of a couple other cards pulled from the Genuine Coverage Plus set.

2001 Fleer Genuine Vladimir Guerrero Genuine Coverage Plus Proof

This is one of a couple other cards pulled from the Genuine Coverage Plus set. No info on why these were pulled as of yet.

2002 Just Minors Russ Adams Justifiable #1 SP

Official statement from Just Minors:

"Due to an unfortunate situation, cards of Russ Adams (card #1) were removed from production after being printed but prior to packaging. These cards will not be replaced. It is possible that a small number of Russ Adams card passed through the packaging process without being pulled. We respectfully request that those cards be returned to Just Minors in exchange for any other base cards needed to complete a base (non-autographed) set. We are very sorry for this situation and appreciate your understanding."

2003 Upper Deck Sweet Spot Rod Carew #75b

Not quite sure why this card was removed from the set, but it was replaced by Hideki Matsui RC.

2005 Donruss Signature Warren Spahn Milestone Marks #8

According to Beckett Baseball Card Plus (April/May 2006), cards 7-8 do not exist. Official Response from Donruss: "The Randy Johnson and Warren Spahn cards were actually printed and should have been pulled during the production cycle. Unfortunately not all cards were pulled."
Reported sales: $145, $125

2006 Topps Alex Gordon RC #297 (Full card)

Topps pulled from packs to comply with the new Rookie Card rules set up by the MLBPA. Because Gordon is not Rookie Card-eligible under the new Rookie Card guidelines, he was removed and Topps never replaced #297. This card has jumped from $400 to $3,500 due to well known collector Keith Olbermann. There is a more common cut out version and a rare blank front version of this card.

Card sold for $304 on June 9, 2010.

2006 Topps Alex Gordon RC #297 (Cut Out)

Topps pulled from packs to comply with the new Rookie Card rules set up by the MLBPA. Because Gordon is not Rookie Card-eligible under the new Rookie Card guidelines, he was removed and Topps never replaced #297. This is much more common than the full card.

2006 Topps Heritage Alex Gordon RC #255

Topps pulled from packs to comply with the new Rookie Card rules set up by the MLBPA. Because Gordon is not Rookie Card-eligible under the new Rookie Card guidelines, he was removed and Topps never replaced #255. No full version is known to have slipped into packs, but this cut out version has popped up. .

1998 Donruss Signature Series Preview Jason Kendall #NNO

These cards were never returned to Donruss and was probably given out to friends and family.

2002 Topps 206 Jason Giambi Autograph #TA-JG

I believe these were never signed, thus never released onto the market. Giambi signed an exclusive contract with Fleer, so these were never released.

One appeared on eBay (Item number #190244576838)
Auction was listed at $500 or best offer. Sold for $375.

2000 Ovation Ryan Anderson WP RC #70

Because he was removed from the 40 man roster, Upper Deck had to remove his card from the set. A hand full of these cards still reached packs slipping by quality control.

BV: $150.00

1990-91 Hoops Sam Vincent #223a

After the release of the original card, the NBA licensing board didn't approve of the card that pictured Michael Jordan wearing the #12. Fleer/Skybox was forced to pull the card from production and replace it with another photo. To my knowledge, the story behind it was that Jordan's jersey was stolen before the start of the game, so he wore #12.

1994 Fleer Pro Cards Michael Jordan #633a

During production, this card was pulled because Upper Deck had exclusive rights to Michael Jordan. Since Fleer had a deal with National Association to produce team sets of every minor league team and players, they were allowed to release 10,000 sets (80,000 of the 90,000 were shredded). Since the first Jordan card was initially pulled, a new pose had to be ordered and used for the released team sets. All but roughly two dozen of the original card was destroyed. I've only seen 1 on eBay.

2004-05 Topps Rookie Photo Shoot Dwight Howard Autograph

Statement from Topps: We give all the players at the rookie shoot cards for their personal use. We could not put this one into packs, because UD had the exclusive rights to sell Howard's autographed card. So this is one from his own personal collection. Rookie shoot cards that are found in our packs have the 3M hologram sticker on the back. With the sticker, you know it's 100% authentic.

2002 Bowman Chrome Jake Mauer unsigned Xfractor #388

This card was pulled from production.

"An exchange was inserted into packs for Jake Mauer's autographed RC. The exchange card was intended to be card number 388 in the checklist but the actual Mauer autograph mailed out to collectors was card number 324. Thus, this set actually has two cards numbered 324 (the Jake Mauer autograph and a basic-issue Ben Broussard card) and no number 388." .

2004 Fleer Greats of the Game Marty Marion Autograph

These were sent out prior to Fleer's bankruptcy as part of the redemption replacement program.

1999-00 UD Pavel Brendl Young Guns RC #164

This card was replaced by Rico Fata. Only 4 known to have surfaced.

2005 Donruss Javy Lopez Inside View #IV-15

Not intended for public release. Serial number missing from cards also.

1999-00 Upper Deck Retro Goldie Howe #82

Howe and the card manufacturer could not come to an agreement. At least five of Howe’s cards made it into Retro packs and expects many more to surface.

2003 Netpro Premier Edition Anna Kournikova Blue Variation #10

Anna Kournikova #10 Card that was pulled from the set in the very beginning stages of production. The reason the card was pulled is because it was learned by NetPro that Adidas had used that original #10 picture for an advertising campaign.

2007 Topps Chrome Michael Vick SP #TC111

Topps had pulled the regular Michael Vick chrome card out of the Topps Chrome set. It sounds like some of the refractor parallels got into production.
2004 Fleer Greats of the Game Art Monk SP #35

The cards were intended to have been pulled due to licensing issues but a few surfaced, presumably from the liquidation of Fleer card inventory in the auction a few year's ago.

Reported sale: $20.49 - June 1, 2010
2003-04 Pacific Quest for the Cup Guy LaFleur Eternal Champions Autograph

No official statement made to why these were pulled, but speculation is that it had to do with the licensing of the Heritage Classic.

2008 UD Presidential Predictors #PP-7H (Hillary Clinton Edges Barack Obama)

This card was pulled by Upper Deck when Mrs. Clinton dropped out of the Presidential race.

I guess this was like any other championship contest. Items are made for both sides and whoever loses, their items are destroyed. Some of these still made their way out to the market.

2008 UD Series 1 Presidential Predictors #PP-7 (Mrs. Clinton as Morganna the Kissing Bandit)

This card was pulled by Upper Deck.

"We produced the Hillary Clinton card as we did the other candidates and literally as we were packing out some of external partners said it might be in poor taste," said Upper Deck spokesman, Terry Melia. "To make sure we weren't offending anyone including major league baseball and the Hillary Clinton camp we started manually pulling them out right off the production line."
