2008 Playoff Prime Cuts Wade Miley RC
"A limited number of Razor exclusive player Wade Miley, a pitching prospect in the Arizona Diamondbacks organization, were inadvertantly released in 2008 Playoff Prime Cuts. Donruss issued this statement Tuesday: Due to a production error at the time of pack-out, some 31 copies of a Wade Miley card mistakenly were inserted into packs of 2008 Playoff Prime Cuts Baseball. Donruss officials believed they had a deal with Miley during the production cycle of Prime Cuts, but when it became apparent Miley was exclusive property of another manufacturer, Donruss pulled Miley cards before pack-out. “These few just slipped by,” a Donruss representative said. “It’s an honest mistake, and one we regret.” There are no Miley autograph redemption cards."

Art "Superman" Pennington, one of the few living all-stars from the Negro Leagues (who actually played in the Negro Leagues in the early 1940's) had his house demolished by the floods in Iowa. All of his baseball memorabilia is gone, as are his car, his clothing and one of his dogs. He's set up a site for people to make donations and would greatly appreciate it.

2008 UD Presidential Predictors #PP-7H (Hillary Clinton Edges Barack Obama)
This card was pulled by Upper Deck when Mrs. Clinton dropped out of the Presidential race.
I guess this was like any other championship contest. Items are made for both sides and whoever loses, their items are destroyed. Some of these still made their way out to the market. |

2008 UD Series 1 Presidential Predictors #PP-7 (Mrs. Clinton as Morganna the Kissing Bandit)
This card was pulled by Upper Deck.
"We produced the Hillary Clinton card as we did the other candidates and literally as we were packing out some of external partners said it might be in poor taste," said Upper Deck spokesman, Terry Melia. "To make sure we weren't offending anyone including major league baseball and the Hillary Clinton camp we started manually pulling them out right off the production line." |

2001 Fleer Genuine Phil Rizzuto Names Of the Game Bat/Autograph
These cards were completely pulled from production. This card may be a 1 of a kind.
I've obtained a non-signed version, a signed version, and a blue signed variation. |

2001 Fleer Genuine Paul Molitor Material Issue Jersey SP
Before Fleer went Bankrupt, I was told that there were less than 60 in circulation, but I believe there are less than that. These cards are nearly impossible to find, not even on search engines. These cards are rare. |

1989-90 Pacific Senior League Jim Nettles ERR #126a
1989 Fleer Bill Ripken card wasn't the only card with obscenities on the bat barrel. This card had a corrected version that books at 10x this card's value. |

2005 Donruss Signature Milestone Marks #MM7 & #MM8 does exist.
According to the leading Price guide publication, Cards #MM7 & MM8 does not exist.
Official word from Donruss:
"We apologize for the delayed response. We want to make sure we provide accurate information to our customers. Beckett’s price guide is correct in stating that the cards identified do not exist in 2005 Signature Series Milestone Marks. The Randy Johnson and Warren Spahn cards were actually printed and should have been pulled during the production cycle. Unfortunately not all cards were pulled. We would be pleased to replace these cards with other cards of value from 2005 Signature Series. Please let us know if we can be of further assistance. Thank you for your time and have a great day!" |

No Autographs for this Henson card.
The background for this card, 1999 SP Top Prospect Drew Henson SP #93, is that it was released by Upper Deck, but violated NCAA rules, as Henson still played football for Michigan. Upper Deck tried to pull what they could from getting out.
I sent out a request back in 1999 to get this card signed and again after he signed a contract with Fleer. Both times, he sent back a handwritten note that says he does not sign those cards. |
